Tips to improve crypting performance

• Complete Archeology and Blacksmithing research.

• Assign talent points to Archeology.

• Level the Carter captain to at least level 250. 

  • Level 300 is strongly recommended.

• Perform well in The Trial of Olympus.

  • This increases the number of Torch of Olympus fragments earned.

  • It also provides high-quality crypting enchantments from the Tartaros stage.

• Upgrade the Torch of Olympus artifact.

  • Aim for gold or purple bonuses.

  • Aim for Epic Crypt Exploration Efficiency or Crypt Exploration Efficiency bonuses

• Obtain Omniscience gear from the Hellforge event.

  • Aim for 3 pieces of Red Omniscience Armor on Carter

• Collect high-quality crypting Amber gems and high-quality crypting enchantments.

  • Use these to improve crypting gear.

  • Gems are obtained from Rare Crypts

  • Enchantments are best obtained from the Tartaros stage of Olympus
